Hello everyone! For those of you who don't yet know me: so lovely to meet you. My name is Julia Cook. I am a fifteen year old girl spending my sophomore year of high school abroad in Domancy, France. In this blog, I hope to share my experiences, tips and tricks, and recount tales of the ups and downs of the exchange process (hopefully with more of the former!).

I have two main goals:

1) to make the application and exchange journeys more accessible and transparent for potential exchange students

2) to keep in touch with friends and family back home, for whom I am incredibly grateful

I also look forward to having a tangible record of my year abroad!
